By David Ball
When you wish upon a star
Minds begins to whirl
You think of all your hopes and dreams
And everything that has occurred
You wish you could fly
With that star up above
To discover new places untold
You’d go to Bombay, Peru, and Africa
Flying over the savannah
Fulfilled with anticipation and joy.
You’d pass other stars
Waving as they glisten in the dark.
If only you could be
That lovely shooting star,
Then all your hopes and dreams
Would become reality.
